Pilates and Pregnancy

Hi Michelle,

My name is Jodie Baker, Auckland, New Zealand. I just wanted to commend you on your advice, as a physio (physical) therapist i have done a lot of work in the field of pilates and agree with your recommendations.

Another point i would add, would be to avoid end range (stretch) positions, which often occur in traditional pilates and are not safe for the pregnant woman.

p.s. i can't find anywhere at what stage of my pregnancy i have to start avoiding lying on my back, how serious is this?? I'm a back sleeper ... oh no!!
