Michelle's Suggestion On Post-Pregnancy
Question From Jean BaadenHi Michelle,
When does one start to loose the uterine "pooch."? It's only been two weeks since I delivered. Mr. Dr. says only 10 minute walks for now. I started off and maintained my fitness level by swimming almost a mile a day...gained 34 pounds, shaped like a stick of celery.
Please tell me I just need to be patient right? I have a beautiful healthy girl and like you almost feel better about myself post pregnancy 'cuz I love the human being I created. I feel more confidant as a woman. Hear me roar. Would like some feedback. Enjoy your e-mails.

Feedback From Michelle
Hi Jean,
Are you worried about the BIG SAG?
If you answered "yes", you're NOT alone! Other than weight and stretch marks, sagging breasts are one of the BIGGEST concerns for women.
Although I had small breasts to begin with, I was still worried about what would happen post-pregnancy. My concern was HOW MUCH smaller I was going to be? And I can tell you - I DEFINITELY am smaller now, but I'm happy to report that I am "sag-free" and have no other pregnancy damage to report!
My friend, however, was the complete opposite - she started off BIG, grew bigger and then lost everything, ending up with smaller, less "perky" breasts than before.
Luckily, there ARE some preventative measures that you CAN start taking NOW. And I ABSOLUTELY encourage you to follow these tips if you're at all concerned!
Here are my TOP 4 Tips to MINIMIZE the "Damage":
Make sure you: - Wear a SUPPORTIVE bra all the time, especially when you're exercising (which one's are best is another whole newsletter in itself!);
- Train your pectorals (chest press and pushups are the best if you've been given the OK to exercise by your doctor);
- Apply moisturizing cream daily (with vitamins E and A); and
- DO NOT, I repeat - DO NOT let your baby pull on your nipples (I know this sounds strange, but you'll know what I mean when/if you start breastfeeding!)
And about those STRETCH MARKS, here are my TOP 3 Tips to MINIMIZE those marks: - As soon as you find out that you're pregnant, start a daily routine of gently massaging your body (breasts, abdomen, and buttocks) with Shea butter, Cocoa butter (I used this!), or Vitamin E (preferably after a bath or shower);
- Eat a well balanced diet - some studies have shown that nutritional deficiencies (especially deficiencies in Vitamin E, C, Zinc, and Silicon) can play a role in creating stretch marks; and
- Drink LOTS of water to help keep your skin supple (add a drop of lemon if you don't find water appealing).
Unfortunately there are no guarantees that you will not get stretch marks or sagging breasts, but the good news is there ARE quite a few things you CAN do to lower your risk!
And if you're lucky, pregnancy may even do your body good! It's not uncommon for women to look better post- pregnancy (and I can vouch for this personally - my butt is way nicer now!).
For lots more TIPS on how to look GREAT during your pregnancy, including how to minimize your chances of getting varicose veins, cellulite and the pregnancy mask, plus all kinds of food and exercise advice (including specific information on how to minimize your extra unnecessary weight gain), read my kit at... www.pregnancywithoutpounds.com/thegoods.htm.
Feel Good :) Your Friend, Michelle
