Tremendously Help Through Out Pregnancy

Dear Michelle,

First of all I just want to say that I absolutely love your email newsletter and that it has helped me tremendously through out my pregnancy, so thank you very much for taking the time to do this- you are very much appreciated. Since the topic is swelling I thought I might pass along some anti-swelling tips that I have acquired during my five months of pregnancy:

1. Swimming: I started swimming about a month ago and noticed that I felt a lot less swollen after my daily swims. So I did some research and apparently there was a study done that concluded that swimming does help the body shed excess water. They didn't have any solid conclusions as to why but I can tell you that this is the number one helper for me!!!

2. Watermelon: Now this may just be a wives tale- I haven't researched this one but I read in a book that since watermelon is a natural diuretic that it too helps shed excess water. Now I have tried this and haven't noticed anything to drastic but hey its worth a shot, right?

Please feel free to pass these along if you feel so inclined - especially the swimming one because I am telling you that it works better than anything else that I have tried!!!!
